Oracle Developer / SQL Developer / Database Developer / PL/SQL Developer / Oracle Consultant

You will serve as a technical lead focused on Oracle database development and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, development, and implementation following security principles and best practices.
• Resolve production issues, including functional defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize queries and identify indexes to ensure scalability and reduce technical debt.
• Manage deliveries using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues to maintain system stability.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience working with Oracle products.
• 4-5 years of experience within the telecommunications domain.
• Expertise in PL/SQL and SQL Loader.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Oracle SOA Suite Architecture and Development, including BAM, BPM, and BPEL.
• Knowledge of Tuxedo Services development using Service Builder.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Intermedia Text.
• Competency in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with SQL Developer, Oracle Data Modeler, Control M, Gitlab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Jira.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working with telecommunications service providers such as Telefonica Spain.
