Description

You will own the full lifecycle of database development and administration tasks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for business lines by analyzing functional requirements to define scope.
• Conduct PL/SQL or SQL development to solve specific business problems.
• Manage database administrative tasks supporting production, QA, and development environments.
• Identify and optimize database systems for performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle database development.
• Extensive knowledge of PL/SQL, including Triggers, Packages, Functions, Procedures, Complex SQL, Oracle Collections, and Object Types.
• Proficiency in SQL query tuning and understanding query plans.
• 2+ years of experience in Unix shell programming.
• Familiarity with Python programming.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting high-performance, multi-user databases.
• Understanding of the SDLC process and agile program management concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Oracle RAC.
