Description

You will provide technical expertise for the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise tax systems across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate monthly updates for tax engine rates, rules, and jurisdictions.
• Configure and test taxability overrides in the tax engine while coordinating with IT to ensure functionality.
• Perform critical analysis of tax system test results and implement solutions for identified issues.
• Collaborate with business units to minimize the impact of indirect taxes on transactions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies within the Indirect Tax group.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience implementing AR, Invoicing, and OTC in Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, or Oracle Cloud.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Oracle, or other scripting and big data languages.
• Experience with Alteryx.
• Working knowledge of indirect tax and ERP, tax, billing, or payable implementation processes.
• Experience testing application releases and version upgrades, including documenting results.
• Experience with tax technology such as Vertex or OneSource.
• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 3+ years of experience in Sales/Use Tax, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Avalara.
