Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud (Finance and Procurement) and Oracle EPM Cloud. The QA Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive testing cycles across Finance, Procurement, and EPM modules, ensuring functional accuracy, process integrity, and successful end-to-end business process validation.
This role requires the ability to operate independently as a testing lead, functional tester, and automation engineer while also providing leadership to a broader QA team. The ideal candidate will define testing strategies, develop test plans and scenarios, validate integrations, support quarterly cloud update testing, and partner closely with business stakeholders throughout Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), End User Testing (EUT), and production readiness activities.
The QA Lead will take a hands-on approach to coordinating efforts across functional, technical, business, data, and integration teams, including distributed onsite and offshore resources, to proactively identify and resolve testing roadblocks and maintain project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Define end-to-end test strategy for Oracle ERP Cloud, Procurement Cloud, and EPM Cloud programs, including regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with functional leads across Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), Procurement (PO, SSP), and EPM (Planning, FCCS) to develop cross-module test coverage.
• Design and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cycles for implementations, enhancements, integrations, and quarterly patch testing.
• Conduct integration testing across ERP, Procurement, and EPM business processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), project costing, and planning data flows.
• Validate data accuracy, transformation logic, and financial results across modules using SQL queries and reconciliation scripts.
• Test inbound and outbound integrations involving OIC, REST APIs, FBDI/ADFDI, OTBI extracts, and third-party systems.
• Perform BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View report validation, ensuring accuracy and security alignment.
• Execute security and role-based access (RBAC) testing, validating appropriate user role assignments and system access.
• Lead defect triage, coordinate with development and integration teams, and track issue resolution through closure.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing scenarios, guiding business users through execution, and validating outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain testing documentation including requirements traceability matrices (RTM), defect logs, test metrics, and testing closure reports.
• Identify opportunities for test automation, recommend appropriate toolsets, and develop automated test scripts for repeatable scenarios.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous testing initiatives within CI/CD environments.
• Ensure testing readiness and compliance for Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and mandatory regression testing cycles.
• Develop and deliver testing dashboards, execution metrics, risk assessments, blocker management reports, and project status updates to leadership.
Required Qualifications
• 15+ years of IT experience with exposure to Oracle ERP applications.
• 12+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including 3+ years supporting Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, Procurement, and EPM).
• Strong hands-on experience testing Oracle ERP Cloud modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and Procurement Cloud modules (PO, SSP).
• Experience testing Oracle EPM Cloud solutions including Planning (PBCS/EPBCS), FCCS, ARCS, and PCM.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP business processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), budgeting, forecasting, and planning workflows.
• Proficiency with SQL for data validation and reconciliation across ERP and EPM data sets.
• Experience validating integrations using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, ADFDI, and related technologies.
• Experience validating reporting solutions including BI Publisher, OTBI, FRS, and Smart View.
• Proven experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Strong capability in defect management, triage, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
