Description

You will own functional testing for Oracle Applications R12 modules including Purchasing, Inventory, WIP, BOM, and QAL.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and test new or modified software programs via manual or automated testing to verify functionality against user requirements and functional specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Isolate system problems using SQL proficiency and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide clear written and verbal communication on defects, test results, and status to the QA lead and developers.
• Generate and provide defects and testing metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of functional testing experience with Oracle Applications R12 (Purchasing, Inventory, WIP, BOM, QAL).
• Hands-on experience with Quality Center is required.
• Proficiency in SQL for isolating system problems.
• Ability to build rapport with onsite/offsite counterparts and business users.
• Strong ability to present and communicate project status effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle ADF applications testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation scripting using UFT and VB Script.
