Description

Lead the administration and management of Oracle Exadata environments and engineered systems. Own full-stack patching, migrations, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-stack patching of Oracle Exadata Engineered Systems.
• Execute migrations from non-Exadata platforms to Exadata or ExaCC.
• Perform database migrations between Exadata systems, including ExaCC version upgrades.
• Provide production support and monitoring for Oracle databases.
• Optimize performance across Oracle Databases, Engineered Systems, and OS/servers.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Engineer or DBA.
• 5+ years of direct experience with Exadata, ExaCC, or ExaCS.
• 10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, including RAC, CRS, and ASM.
• Expertise in Oracle DataGuard and RMAN/Data Pump for cloning and backups.
• Hands-on experience with Exadata components: cell servers, Infiniband fabric, exachk, and storage indexes.
• Proficiency with TAF, AHF, and Linux/UNIX system administration.
• Experience installing, upgrading, and patching Oracle versions (12c, 18c, or 19c).
• Deep understanding of Oracle licensing restrictions across different editions and options.
• Required Oracle database certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the Finance domain.
• Knowledge of the ITIL Service Management framework.
