Description

Lead Oracle database engineering and administration with a focus on Exadata environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-stack patching of Oracle Exadata Engineered Systems.
• Execute migrations from non-Exadata platforms to Exadata/ExaCC and between Exadata versions.
• Perform installation, upgrading, and patching of Oracle database versions from 12c/18c to 19c.
• Provide production support, monitoring, and performance optimization for databases, engineered systems, and OS/servers.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Engineer or DBA.
• 5+ years of experience administering Oracle Exadata Engineered Systems, ExaCC, or ExaCS.
• 10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, including RAC, CRS, and ASM.
• Hands-on experience with cell servers, Infiniband fabric, exachk, and storage indexes.
• Proficiency with TAF, AHF, and Oracle DataGuard.
• Strong experience with cloning and backups using RMAN and Data Pump.
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX system administration.
• Understanding of Oracle licensing restrictions across different editions and options.
• Oracle database certification is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Finance domain.
