Description

You will manage Oracle financial operating systems, ensuring compliance with regulations while performing complex financial modeling and accounting reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage interactions between internal and external entities to ensure regulatory compliance for Oracle financial systems.
• Perform complex financial modeling, calculations, and prepare accurate accounting reports, statements, and budgets.
• Implement process improvements and customize finance ERP software and ancillary systems.
• Consult with the Digital Transformation Office on technical matters regarding automated accounting systems.
• Maintain Accounting Policy Manuals and interpret complex federal, state, and local laws.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of governmental experience in accounting, auditing, or management information systems.
• Emphasis on financial ERP systems analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information Systems from an accredited institution.
• Working knowledge of Oracle modules: Grants, Projects, Payables, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
• Experience with system conversion into Oracle financial systems.
• Ability to analyze, test, and provide ongoing support for financial ERP systems.
• Proficiency in performing financial analysis of accounting reports and records.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• CPA certification.
• Expert-level Excel skills including formulas, pivots, macros, and VLOOKUPs.
