Oracle Forms Developer

You will design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle application systems within the insurance domain.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and develop functional specifications and gap analyses for existing information systems.
• Design and develop software for new functionality, system improvements, and long-term longevity.
• Provide technical consultation to business partners regarding architecture, operating systems, and databases.
• Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and mentor development team members.
• Develop low-level technical specifications and review high- and low-level design documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in programming and systems analysis.
• Mandatory experience in the Insurance domain.
• Expertise in Oracle Forms and Oracle PL/SQL (11g or later).
• Proficiency with Oracle database (11g or later) and Oracle Developer Suite (Forms 11g or higher).
• Experience with object-oriented programming frameworks such as .NET C# or Java.
• Experience with XML Structures.
• Working knowledge of AIX/UNIX shell, ServiceNow, and MS Active Directory.
• Proficiency with Business Objects (v4 or higher) and Toad.
• Experience with MS Team Foundation Server (2010 or later), Windows Server (2003 or later), and MS SharePoint (2010 or higher).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of various open-source tools and frameworks.
