Description

You will install, configure, and maintain Oracle database instances across versions 11g, 12c, and 19c.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN.
• Automate administrative tasks using PL/SQL, Bash, and Perl scripts.
• Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot performance degradation, corruption, and outages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database administration.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL for scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN for backup and recovery.
• Proficiency in Bash and Perl for automation tasks.
• Experience configuring Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
• Ability to perform performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with database security management (roles, privileges, encryption).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with capacity planning and storage monitoring.
• Availability for after-hours support and on-call assistance.
