Description

Engineer and administer mid-tier infrastructure in Linux environments, ensuring availability and performance for UAT and Production systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect, install, and configure application and web servers, portals, and associated software products.
• Maintain mid-tier infrastructure to meet availability and performance standards across UAT and Production environments.
• Automate administration and maintenance tasks using configuration management and orchestration tools.
• Troubleshoot outages and resolve firewall, port, and network architecture issues.
• Manage system security through periodic reviews of Army STIGs and maintain security standards.

Required Skills

• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• 1-5 years of experience with WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and OBIEE Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS administration.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or CHEF.
• Understanding of PKI and application network architectures.
• Experience working within large enterprise web application server environments.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow for ticket documentation and task management.
• Bachelor Degree in a technical field or related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Web Services, including SOAP and REST.
• Experience with XML, DTD, XSLT, Xerces, and Xalan.
