Description

Design, build, and maintain Oracle Hyperion Planning applications and Essbase cubes.

You will own the metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, and data integrations between ERP systems, FDMEE, and Planning. You will develop automation scripts for data loads and optimize Essbase performance. You will also build Financial Reporting and Smart View dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage metadata, dimensions, and hierarchies within Planning and Essbase.
• Configure and support data integrations between ERP systems, Data Management/FDMEE, and Planning applications.
• Develop and optimize automation scripts (Shell, Python, Batch) for data loads, metadata refresh, and backup processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Essbase cubes, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Build and manage FR reports, Smart View templates, and dashboards for management reporting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning or Oracle EPM Cloud solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning, PBCS, or EPBCS.
• Proficiency in Essbase (ASO & BSO cubes), including calculation scripts and outline optimization.
• Experience with FDMEE, Data Management, or ETL tools such as ODI or Informatica.
• Working knowledge of automation using Shell, Batch, or Python scripts.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL / PL-SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like FR Studio, SmartView, or Narrative Reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in implementing end-to-end planning and budgeting projects.
• Certification such as Oracle EPM Specialist or Oracle Hyperion Planning Implementation.
