Description

You will manage and maintain the Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) environment in OCI, ensuring cluster stability, security, and efficient scaling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale OKE clusters, including node pools and worker nodes, while monitoring performance.
• Handle pod lifecycle operations including creation, updates, deletion, and log monitoring.
• Manage deployments with rolling updates and rollbacks, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Enforce pod security and compliance by configuring network policies, secrets, and RBAC.
• Upgrade and patch OKE clusters, managing version updates and security fixes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes cluster management.
• Proficiency using OCI Console and OCI CLI for cluster operations.
• Expertise with Kubernetes CLI operations for troubleshooting and management.
• Experience managing OCI Registry for container image storage and retrieval.
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
• Ability to manage node pools and pod lifecycle within OKE effectively.
