Description

You will provide intermediate-level support for Oracle databases, focusing on routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Monitor database performance and perform regular health checks to ensure high availability.
• Execute routine backup and recovery tasks and manage database maintenance.
• Resolve database incidents and service requests within established SLAs.
• Diagnose issues related to connectivity, replication, and performance.
• Assist with Oracle database installations, configurations, patches, and version upgrades.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in Oracle database administration or related roles.
• Proficiency in Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c.
• Working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Understanding of database backup and recovery concepts.
• Basic understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and methodologies.
