Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle and MongoDB environments, focusing on cloud migrations and database performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute data migrations from on-premises environments to AWS Cloud RDS and MongoDB Atlas.
• Manage large-scale database schema exports and imports, including full loads and Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and environment refreshes from production to development.
• Develop technical documentation including runbooks, DR drill books, and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to support database and server consolidation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Database Administration.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle and MongoDB.
• Experience using AWS Data Migration Service (DMS) and AWS Cloud RDS.
• Proficiency in MongoDB Atlas, including cluster and user management.
• Strong Unix command skills and shell scripting for task automation.
• Experience with database backup, restore methods, and various backup tools.
• Solid understanding of DB query languages and database architecture.
• Experience building logical data models, ensuring data quality, and implementing data security.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (morning, general, and afternoon).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with schema conversion between different database types.
