Description

You will develop and maintain solutions within the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create low-level design documents and detailed engineering specifications based on business and non-functional requirements.
• Write code adhering to established coding standards and maintain existing program logic integrity.
• Participate in code review processes, including peer and external reviews, to ensure adherence to standards.
• Ensure the quality of work delivered by external vendor partners.
• Write and revise system and operations documentation for support manuals.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA).
• 5-7 years of experience with SQL and XML, including views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Strong knowledge of OIPA Rules Palette, Rules, Activity/Transaction configuration, and Plan/Product configuration.
• Proficiency in Java and API integrations.
• 2-3 years of experience developing applications targeting AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Fixed, Indexed, Variable, and Registered Annuities, Surrender charges, and Riders.
• Experience with development tools like Git and CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins.
