Description

You will design and develop technical solutions within the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration framework.

Responsibilities

• Create low-level design documents and detailed engineering specifications based on complex business and non-functional requirements.
• Write and maintain code that adheres to established standards, procedures, and techniques.
• Partner with project teams and business stakeholders to plan and execute the development process.
• Evaluate interrelationships between applications to manage impact analysis and design effective interfaces.
• Participate in project design walkthroughs to ensure technical alignment.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of OIPA Rules Palette, Rules, Activity/Transaction configuration, and Admin and Plan rules.
• Experience with AS Tables, Plan/Product configuration, Segments & elements, and Security roles.
• Proficiency in single policy fixes, Rules Palette usage, and Policy lifecycle modeling for annuity products.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations and Java.
• Demonstrable SQL development skills including writing views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with XML and Oracle technologies.
• Proficiency with development tools including Visual Studio, Git, and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Experience using CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Full-stack development experience using AWS Services.
• Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX shell scripting and container technologies like Docker, EKS, or ECS.
• Experience with AI/MLOps.
