Description

Manage and support Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) Financials applications and integrations in a 24/7/365 environment. Lead the migration of on-premises ORMB and Oracle Database 19c from Solaris to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OCI infrastructure, including provisioning compute, storage, compartments, and networking services.
• Administer Oracle Middleware applications including RMB, OSB, SOA, MFT, and PEGA.
• Manage database security, patching, cloning, backup and recovery strategies, and performance tuning.
• Develop automation scripts using UNIX Shell and WLST for routine administrative tasks.
• Execute disaster recovery planning, including managing SVN and performing annual DR tests.

Required Skills

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Oracle ORMB Application Administration or similar roles.
• In-depth knowledge of OCI services: VCN, Subnets, Service Gateways, Compute, Block Storage, and Object Storage.
• Experience with Oracle Database 19c and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with J2EE technologies: JSP, Servlets, EJBs, JMS, Web Services, SSL, JDBC, and JNDI.
• Expertise in troubleshooting Kafka, PEGA engine, and Node Types.
• Ability to deploy WAR, JAR, and EAR applications in standalone and clustered environments.
• Experience with F5 configurations and end-to-end encryption implementation.
• Technical knowledge of Hibernate, Perl scripting, and iRule scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Utility Framework patching and reconfiguration.
• Knowledge of DB table partitioning and tuning.
