Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support technical solutions within the Planning & Allocation portfolio.
Write, optimize, and maintain complex queries and procedures using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Develop and support database solutions on Oracle and PostgreSQL platforms.
Perform Unix-based development using shell scripting.
Support integration and data processing workflows, including optimization and allocation outputs.
Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams across onshore and offshore locations.
Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support activities.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

MUST HAVE SKILLS (noted with asterisk):
*Oracle SQL
*PL/SQL
*Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
*Unix
*Shell scripting
*Experience with Size Optimization or Pack Optimization tools such as:
*Strong RMS/Merchandising planning experience
*SAS
*SizeO

*Functional knowledge of Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), including:
*Foundation data
*Items and prepacks
*Purchase orders
*Pricing

*Functional or product expertise in Planning & Allocation (P&A) areas, including:
*Assortment Planning
*Blue Yonder / JDA Allocation tools (major plus)

Communication & Collaboration

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with:

Onsite and offshore teams
Cross‑functional technical and business stakeholders

Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, collaborative enterprise environment.

Experience with Informatica ETL tools is a plus.

Skills: PostgreSQL ~ ORACLE SQL ~ PL/SQL ~ Unix Shell Scripting and text processing tools
