Description

Design and develop Oracle database systems, manage performance tuning, and support financial services data warehousing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL applications, including ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
• Analyze complex database problems, optimize execution plans, and implement performance tuning strategies.
• Conduct feasibility studies, create time and cost estimates, and define operating standards for database development.
• Consult with stakeholders to recommend advanced programming solutions and ensure system security and privilege control.
• Provide user operational support and act as a subject matter expert for senior technology groups.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in RDBMS Database Development, specifically with Oracle Database.
• 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Database Development.
• Experience with Performance Tuning, Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of database applications.
• Knowledge of database security, privilege control, and normalization principles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
