Description

Manage and support Oracle database environments, focusing on development, administration, and production stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform Oracle Database Administration tasks including installation, configuration, and patching on Linux and AWS RDS.
• Maintain production RAC (ASM) environments using 11gR2 and 19c.
• Optimize RMAN and set up Oracle Data Guard to resolve data sync issues.
• Manage performance tuning, storage, backups, recovery, and schema management.
• Provide technical support to application development teams and act as the primary contact for Oracle Corporation SRs.

Required Skills

• 2 to 4 years of PL/SQL development experience with Oracle or equivalent databases.
• 2 to 4 years of experience with Oracle Database Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (ASM) in production environments.
• Proficiency in RMAN optimization and Oracle Data Guard setup.
• Experience managing databases on Linux and AWS RDS.
• Practical knowledge of PL/SQL development and MySQL.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AWS Aurora (Postgres/MySQL).
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
