Key Responsibilities:

•   Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, and triggers.
•   Optimize SQL queries to ensure maximum performance and scalability.
•   Collaborate with business users to analyze requirements and design technical solutions.
•   Perform database administration tasks such as backups, restores, and data migration.
•   Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring quick resolution.
•   Ensure data security and compliance with Canon’s internal policies and standards.
•   Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Process Reengineering, Development) to deliver high-quality solutions.
•   Participate in code reviews and solution design sessions.
•   Escalate issues and report project progress to management.
•   Handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:

•   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
•    8+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
•   Strong proficiency in SQL programming, with experience in performance tuning.
•   Experience with database administration and troubleshooting.
•   Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS backend tables and functional knowledge in OTC.
•   Familiarity with the Oracle EBS front-end functionality (forms).
•   Experience working within SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
•   Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
•   Ability to work with both functional teams and business users.
•   Java/JSP experience is a plus.
•   Experience in Finance/Accounting is a plus.
•   Oracle Certification preferred
