Description

You will maintain and enhance an internal medical billing system used across five state healthcare facilities, preparing for a future transition to a commercial off-the-shelf EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operational system by implementing data and programming fixes.
• Enhance existing medical billing system functionality.
• Document business rules and system requirements for the upcoming EHR transition.
• Support both database-side batch PL/SQL processes and front-end code.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL programming, including client-side and server-side development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, preferably version 12c or higher.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git or Subversion.
• Experience with modern reporting tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Pentaho.
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of medical billing processes.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
