Description

You will maintain and enhance an internal medical billing system serving five state healthcare facilities, while preparing documentation for a transition to a COTS EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational stability through data corrections and programming fixes.
• Enhance existing medical billing functionality across database and front-end layers.
• Manage batch PL/SQL processes and Oracle client-side code.
• Document business rules and system requirements for future EHR migration.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of Oracle PL/SQL programming experience (client-side and server-side).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle Forms and Reports (preferably 12c or higher).
• Proficiency with Oracle 19c.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion.
• Experience using modern reporting tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Pentaho.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Understanding of medical billing processes.
