Description

You will develop and support Oracle PL/SQL applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and functions; create database objects like tables, views, and triggers.
• Analyze requirements with stakeholders, design solutions, and adhere to coding standards while enhancing or building commission reports.
• Optimize PL/SQL code using performance tuning techniques and implement features like Analytical functions, MERGE statements, and Partitioning.
• Create and test Unix scripts for report transfer and perform unit and end-to-end system testing of applications.
• Monitor batch processes daily and resolve job failures to meet SLAs, including off-hours support.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of strong development experience using Oracle PL/SQL.
• 12+ years of experience with Oracle 12c or 19c.
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Warehouse environment.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL features: Analytical functions, MERGE statements, WITH clause, Partitioning, Job logging, Exception handling.
• Experience optimizing code using performance tuning techniques.
• Proficiency with version control using SVN for database object scripts.
• Familiarity with Unix and Windows environments, including sFTP usage.
• Experience managing change requests and tickets via ServiceNow and ControlM/Redwood.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
