Description

You will develop, optimize, and support Oracle PL/SQL applications and data warehouse solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and database objects like tables, views, and triggers.
• Analyze requirements, design solutions, and build commission reports while adhering to coding standards.
• Optimize PL/SQL code using performance tuning, Analytical functions, MERGE statements, and Partitioning.
• Create and test Unix scripts for report transfers and perform unit and end-to-end system testing.
• Monitor daily batch processes, resolve job failures to meet SLAs, and provide off-hours support.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of strong development experience using Oracle PL/SQL.
• 12+ years of experience with Oracle 12c or 19c.
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Warehouse environment.
• Expertise in Analytical functions, MERGE statements, WITH clause, Partitioning, Job logging, and Exception handling.
• Proficiency in performance tuning techniques.
• Experience with version control using SVN for database object scripts.
• Familiarity with Unix and Windows environments, including sFTP usage.
• Experience managing change requests and tickets via ServiceNow and ControlM/Redwood.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
