Description

You will develop and maintain core Oracle database solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deliver Oracle-based solutions meeting acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
• Design and implement Oracle-driven data integration pipelines using SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
• Conduct proactive and reactive Oracle performance tuning using explain plans, indexing, and SQL optimization.
• Lead and develop complex Oracle data flows connecting to heterogeneous databases like Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Refine requirements, participate in story sizing, and help drive Agile delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in SQL/PLSQL development (packages, functions, procedures, triggers, bulk processing).
• 10+ years of experience with relational and non-relational databases, focusing heavily on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting Unix shell scripts.
• Skilled in connecting to heterogeneous databases, specifically Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, facts, and dimensions.
• Experience automating Oracle processes using job schedulers (AutoSys preferred).
• Ability to perform POCs/spikes to test new Oracle features or solution patterns.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Shell, Oracle, and PL/SQL.
