Description

Develop and maintain software applications in a UNIX environment, owning the full lifecycle from requirement analysis and design to coding, testing, and documentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, and review software applications using PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
• Perform requirement analysis and design new features and enhancements for Oracle databases.
• Produce and update solution papers, design documents, and technical documentation.
• Develop unit test drivers and functional test drivers to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and database-related issues.

Required Skills

• Expert-level experience writing and maintaining PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases, including complex schemas and query performance tuning.
• Extensive experience working in Linux/UNIX environments, including system commands and scripting.
• Proficiency in SQL for database interactions.
• Experience using Python for scripting or automation tasks.
• Ability to read, understand, and modify existing code.
• Familiarity with XML structures.
• Basic to intermediate experience in C/C++.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OCI/Pro*C.
• Exposure to Perl scripting.
