Description

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views for high-volume data processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for large data volumes and near-real-time processing.
• Perform SQL/PLSQL performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and indexing optimization.
• Support business-critical batch jobs, EOD processing, and scheduled data workflows.
• Provide production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis in regulated environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, perform code reviews, and support releases within Agile or Waterfall frameworks.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, including stored procedures, packages, triggers, cursors, and collections.
• Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c.
• Expertise in performance tuning using explain plans, indexing, and partitioning.
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL Developer and/or TOAD.
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience supporting production systems in regulated environments.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Banking or Financial Services domain experience with exposure to high-availability systems and data controls.
• Understanding of SOX, data security, segregation of duties, and change governance.
