Description

You will develop and maintain high-quality database code within a product environment, translating design documents into functional code and unit tests.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate Low Level Design (LLD) documents into functional code and unit test cases.
• Write database packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and objects/collections.
• Perform SQL performance tuning using Explain Plan and Trace tools.
• Conduct peer reviews of code and participate in testing and product liaison to resolve issues.
• Deliver code to specification within agreed estimates and timescales.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL programming and Oracle SQL.
• Deep expertise in Oracle databases including 10g, 11g, and 12c.
• Proficiency with Oracle APEX, SQL*Plus, and Toad or SQL Developer.
• Experience with XML and HTML.
• Strong understanding of SQL performance tuning.
• Ability to analyze the impact of code changes across relevant modules.
• Experience working in a product-based environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ajax, JavaScript, and XML parsing.
• Unix/Linux operating systems and Unix Shell Scripting.
