Description

Design, develop, and implement complex batch processing applications using Oracle technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, analyze, and debug complex software applications for batch processes.
• Execute SQL tuning, database application design, and provide developer support.
• Conduct root cause analysis on production issues to determine prevention and resolution steps.
• Perform unit testing, user acceptance testing, and system implementation following the IT development life cycle.
• Assist with system upgrades on external interfaces by reviewing functionality changes and updating documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience with a focus on Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms.
• Deep understanding of advanced PL/SQL concepts including collections, nested tables, varrays, and associative arrays.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle views, functions, procedures, triggers, and packages.
• Proficiency in creating and implementing data models.
• Experience with SQL tuning and Oracle database architecture.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming within the Oracle database.
• Ability to document and implement complex software applications.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
