Description

You will lead complex database development projects through hands-on PL/SQL programming and performance optimization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Perform data analysis and transformation for large datasets across multiple systems.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and application issues related to PL/SQL code.
• Assist in database schema design, change management, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Deep expertise in Oracle RDBMS architecture, specifically Oracle 12c or 19c.
• Proven ability to write and debug complex stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
• Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, normalization, and data modeling.
• Experience with large-scale data migrations and ETL processes using PL/SQL.
• Proficiency with Oracle development tools including SQL*Plus, TOAD, and SQL Developer.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or SVN.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Apex, Oracle Forms, or Oracle Reports.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps environments.
