Description

Build and optimize complex database objects and microservices using Oracle PL/SQL, Java 17, and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, and collections using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL code with triggers, cursors, bulk collect, and autonomous transactions.
• Build and maintain microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.3.
• Implement RESTful web services and manage messaging queues via JMS.
• Perform SQL and database performance tuning to optimize execution plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (10g, 11g, 12c, 19c) and Unix.
• Advanced SQL skills including tables, views, constraints, sequences, and synonyms.
• Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and Java 17+.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.3, Hibernate, and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience building REST APIs with Open API spec/Swagger 2.0.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and AWS Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker, AWS MSK, Kibana, Grafana, and ElasticSearch (AWS OpenSearch).
• Competency in unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Hint and Explain Plan for performance optimization.
