Description

You will lead database development and optimization efforts for the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Build and maintain PL/SQL scripts, packages, and functions to automate database operations.
• Implement indexing, query performance tuning, and partitioning strategies.
• Collaborate with Java developers to integrate databases with Java-based applications.
• Troubleshoot database issues, including deadlocks, slow queries, and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in Stored Procedures (SPs) development.
• Hands-on experience in Java programming for database integration.
• Proficiency in Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server databases.
• Experience in query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, scripting, and batch processing.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of database design, normalization, and data modeling.
