Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and model declarative rules using OPA Rule Designer and Policy Modeling tools.

Utilize the OPA Determinations Engine to build and execute policy rules.

Develop and integrate OPA Web Services and REST APIs with enterprise applications.

Customize user interview screens using JavaScript and CSS to deliver seamless user experiences.

Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate logic-based programming into technical solutions.

Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Job Requirements

Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience specifically in Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) development.

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Strong proficiency in OPA Rule Designer, Policy Modeling, and the OPA Determinations Engine.

Deep understanding of declarative rules and logic-based programming concepts.

Practical experience working with OPA Web Services, REST APIs, XML, XPath, and JSON.

Proven experience customizing OPA interviews using JavaScript and CSS.

Solid understanding of SQL and database principles.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

Experience with Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) — the cloud-based evolution of OPA.

Knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins) and version control systems (Git, SVN).

Understanding of enterprise application architecture and code quality tools like SonarQube.

Prior experience working within the Healthcare, Regulatory Compliance, or Insurance domains.
