Description

You will own database migrations and development across Oracle and PostgreSQL environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Oracle databases to open-source PostgreSQL instances.
• Design and develop schemas, tables, triggers, indexes, sequences, and constraints.
• Write database scripts using stored functions, procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Optimize system performance through efficient design and tuning.
• Develop ETL code, SQL statements, and shell scripts for automation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in database engineering.
• Oracle DB (11G, 12C, 19C).
• PostgreSQL and PL/pgSQL.
• SQL and PL/SQL.
• SQL tools including SQL*Plus, TOAD, and pgAdmin.
• Experience analyzing business requirements to build database models.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Migration tools such as Ora2Pg or PGLoader.
• Java, Shell Scripting, and Jenkins.
• EDI domain experience.
