Description

You will lead technical delivery and system design for Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and development of RMS 16.x modules, including items, suppliers, pricing, and inventory.
• Design and maintain complex integrations using Oracle Retail Integration Bus, JMS, Kafka, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, effort estimation, and task breakdown for the development team.
• Perform deep root cause analysis and performance tuning for PL/SQL, Oracle Database, and Java middleware components.
• Mentor team members on best practices for Unix/Linux scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise service bus platforms.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with significant technical leadership.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), specifically version 16.x.
• Expert-level proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle Database development, including query optimization and stored procedures.
• Strong skills in Java and related technologies for custom middleware and batch programs.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, and job scheduling (cron/TWS).
• Experience with messaging and integration frameworks such as Kafka, JMS, and Oracle SOA Suite/OIC.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps and version control with Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Retail’s extended suite (RPM, ReIM, ReSA, Allocation, SIM).
• Knowledge of enterprise service bus platforms and ETL processes.
