Description

You will lead the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle database platforms, including installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Ensure performance, availability, and scalability of critical database systems.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies and disaster recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve database performance issues.
• Supervise team members and build ETL and Data Warehouse processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in database administration.
• Advanced expertise in Oracle (RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, Performance Tuning).
• Strong SQL and query optimization skills.
• Proficiency in at least one RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Proficiency in at least one NoSQL platform (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Couchbase).
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Shell Scripting, Python).
• Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Proven experience supervising others.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced proficiency in building ETL & Datawarehouse processes.
