Description

You will manage and optimize Oracle and Snowflake database environments across AWS and GCP cloud platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowflake table structures and manage change requests and deployments via the Snow console.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake, Redshift, Teradata, and AWS Glue.
• Perform Snowflake performance tuning, including WLM configuration, cluster resizing, and instance management.
• Automate database tasks using Python, Unix/Linux, and shell scripting.
• Manage data ingestion, batch processing, and real-time stream processing across Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database administration and data engineering.
• Expertise in Snowflake utilities: SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, and Metadata Manager.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and Snowflake DBA tasks.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and integration between on-prem and cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Competency in MS-SQL Server (T-SQL) and exception handling.
• Experience with ETL processes for medium to large enterprise data warehousing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Teradata and Redshift data pipeline management.
