Description

Lead the upgrade and administration of Oracle WebLogic Server, SOA Suite, and OSB environments, focusing on migrations from 12c to 14c.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute side-by-side or in-place upgrades for WebLogic 14c domains, ensuring Java compatibility and resolving deprecated API conflicts.
• Provision, configure, and administer WebLogic Managed Servers, Node Managers, clusters, JMS modules, and security realms.
• Manage Oracle SOA Suite components (BPEL, Human Task, Business Rules) and OSB endpoints, routing rules, and transformations.
• Automate deployment and provisioning of BPEL/OSB composites using WLST, Jenkins, Git, and scripting.
• Troubleshoot complex runtime issues, optimize JVM and thread pools, and maintain operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of dedicated experience in Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle SOA Suite administration.
• Hands-on experience performing WebLogic and SOA domain migrations, specifically 12c to 14c.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server (12c/14c), Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
• Proficiency in Java runtime upgrades (JDK 11+) and validating compatibility.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills, including Bash/Shell scripting and WLST.
• Understanding of Oracle Database interactions, including RAC, Grid, RCU schema management, and connection pooling.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Preferred Skills

• Experience extending SOA domains with Oracle Enterprise Scheduler (ESS) or Business Activity Monitoring (BAM).
• Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI, or AWS).
• Oracle WebLogic or SOA Administrator Certifications.
