Description

You will manage and support large-scale Oracle, MSSQL Server, and EDB PostgreSQL Enterprise database environments across multiple data center sites and cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain database infrastructure for production, development, and testing environments.
• Manage Oracle 19c databases, including Real Application Clusters (RAC), Active Data Guard, and Exadata machine configuration and patching.
• Execute database migrations, refreshes, and clones while troubleshooting software and infrastructure issues.
• Develop automation tools to administer large numbers of test and development environments.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for releases, maintenance, and disaster recovery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle internal views, PL/SQL scripting, and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience managing Oracle databases on Linux systems.
• Proficiency with Oracle RAC, Active Data Guard, ASM, and storage management.
• Experience administering Oracle Exadata database machines.
• Experience with MSSQL Server and EDB PostgreSQL Enterprise databases.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud migrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Remedy, ITSM, PPM, or ServiceNow.
