Description

Own the testing lifecycle for complex Oracle and .NET solutions, ensuring quality across system, regression, integration, and user acceptance phases.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed test scenarios and scripts for software components, defining business conditions and expected results.
• Execute system, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for software releases.
• Prepare test environments, generate test data, and extract data using SQL queries to provide testing evidence.
• Log defects and deliver testing documentation, including activity and progress reports/metrics.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and users to resolve issues and ensure adherence to the test plan.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with deep knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Proven experience testing complex user interfaces, specifically large bespoke Oracle systems (batch testing) or web applications.
• Hands-on experience testing .NET / C# solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and validation.
• Strong manual testing skills with the ability to derive test conditions from requirements and design documents.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Ability to compare requirements against designs to identify inconsistencies or gaps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mobile/tablet testing.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
• ISQTB accreditation and experience with SQL Developer or Toad.
