Description

Lead technical development and oversee the software development lifecycle for Oracle Xstore POS solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver custom software solutions using object-oriented programming concepts.
• Drive J2EE application development and provide technical mentorship to project team members.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Architects to coordinate all SDLC phases.
• Articulate design rationales to build consensus and provide technical support across diverse platforms.
• Manage requirements for offshore teams by working flexible hours as needed.

Required Skills

• 5-6 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in J2EE software design and development.
• Proficiency with Oracle Technologies and Relational Databases.
• Experience with Application Servers including WebLogic, Jetty, and JBoss.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Web Services.
• Competency in Unix Shell and Windows Scripting.
• In-depth understanding of Object Oriented Programming & Design.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
