Description

You will design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the Oracle Xstore POS platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Customize Xstore functionalities including promotions, pricing, returns, customer handling, and payment integrations.
• Integrate Xstore with Oracle Retail modules and third-party systems via web services and APIs.
• Support version upgrades, patch management, and bug fixes for the Xstore environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across production and test environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver retail solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Java development experience, preferably in a retail or POS environment.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Xstore POS (v16 or later preferred).
• Deep understanding of Xstore architecture, customization frameworks, and configuration tools.
• Proficiency with XML and Oracle SQL.
• Experience with application integration techniques and web services.
• Practical knowledge of retail workflows such as sales, returns, discounts, and inventory.
• Experience using Git and Jenkins within Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Retail Suite including ORPOS, RMS, ORCE, and EFT.
• Familiarity with omnichannel retail strategies and payment system integrations.
