Description

You will manage and support tier-0, business-critical 24x7 databases in a hybrid Oracle and AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure zero downtime for business-critical databases using Data Guard (observer) and bi-directional GoldenGate.
• Execute rolling maintenance and rolling upgrades for high-availability environments.
• Migrate and support Oracle databases from on-premises to AWS using both RDS and EC2.
• Perform performance tuning and lead SEV1 issue troubleshooting.
• Develop and drive database administration strategies based on team requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Apps EBS DBA, including mandatory EBS 12.2 upgrade experience.
• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
• 2+ years of AWS or cloud platform experience.
• Expertise in Oracle EC2, Data Guard (DG) with observer, and bi-directional GoldenGate technologies.
• Proven experience with Oracle RDS and EC2 for tier-0 database workloads.
• Strong skills in migrating on-premises Oracle databases to AWS.
• Ability to synthesize technical options into actionable solutions for management decision-making.
