Description

You will manage and optimize Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments to ensure performance, security, and high availability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PostgreSQL systems, including data modeling, tables, views, and indexes.
• Execute database upgrades, patching, migrations, and hardware or appliance migrations.
• Optimize large, complex SQL statements, stored procedures, functions, joins, and subqueries.
• Implement and maintain high availability solutions, backup strategies, and recovery procedures.
• Automate administrative tasks using Ansible, Python, and Unix shell scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• In-depth hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration and high availability solutions.
• Strong PostgreSQL performance tuning, optimization, and table partitioning skills.
• Experience managing Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c, and 19c on Linux, AIX, and HPUX.
• Proficiency with Oracle RAC, Exadata, ODA, and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Experience with Oracle Data Guard, OEM 12C, and ASM/ACFS.
• Knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery.
• Skill in automation using Ansible, Python, and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Ability to perform complex SQL tuning and performance analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Certification in Exadata, Oracle RAC, or Oracle 12c or higher.
