Description

You will develop and port BSP features to support Linux on x86_64, ARM, and other hardware architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and port key x86_64 and ARM platform features to Linux for hardware boards.
• Resolve customer-reported defects under SLA and fix issues from QA or internal users.
• Develop functional test cases and analyze performance benchmark results.
• Backport security fixes and monitor incoming vulnerability reports.
• Upstream developed content and fixes to the open-source community.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Linux platform experience, including hardware enablement and kernel development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Assembly, Python, Rust, Go, and Shell programming.
• Deep understanding of x86 and ARM processor architectures.
• Experience with Linux Kernel, UEFI/BIOS, uboot/grub, PCI, USB, networking, storage, and graphics drivers.
• Familiarity with embedded SOC functionalities such as CAN bus.
• Hands-on experience with Git and container technologies like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Linux distributions including RHEL, Debian, CentOS, OpenSUSE, and Yocto.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in hardware debugging tools such as ICE and JTAG.
• Proficiency with Linux debugging tools including ftrace, kdump, crash, and gdb.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps concepts.
