Description

You will manage and maintain network infrastructure within a 24/7 refinery manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform network administration on switches, routers, and firewalls, focusing primarily on Layer 2 switching and occasional Layer 3 routing.
• Monitor device health, manage problem tracking, and resolve network issues within refinery process units.
• Administer physical IP cabling, IP address assignments, and network device backups.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, device inventories, and project documentation for capital and expense projects.
• Identify and escalate potential cybersecurity events and manage network device logging to detect security or reliability issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network administration.
• Hands-on experience with Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing.
• Ability to perform field work inside refinery process units.
• Experience with network device configuration, performance tuning, and change control.
• Capability to support 24/7 manufacturing operations, including occasional off-hours duties.
• Experience with auditing, compliance, risk assessment, and security detection administration.
• Any graduate degree.
