Description

You will design and implement OT network solutions tailored to industrial production environments. You configure, deploy, and manage firewalls across converged IT/OT infrastructures, ensuring strict adherence to security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize network components, including switches, routers, and firewalls, within industrial settings.
• Monitor network performance, conduct comprehensive security audits, and execute network tests.
• Document network topologies, configurations, and change logs for compliance and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal IT/OT product teams and external service providers to resolve issues.
• Implement secure design principles, including micro-segmentation and zero-trust architectures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a system engineer specializing in OT networks.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco (ASA/Firepower) and Fortinet (FortiGate) firewall platforms.
• Strong knowledge of network security, TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Proficiency in network configuration and industrial network protocols.
• Experience with Ethernet and routing protocols in industrial contexts.
• Ability to manage firewalls in converged IT/OT environments.
• Understand secure remote access architectures and network monitoring.
• Any Graduate degree in communications engineering, computer science, or comparable qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and management platforms.
• Familiarity with IEC-62443 standards and micro-segmentation strategies.
• Knowledge of CMMI Level 5 processes and IT/OT convergence best practices.
