Description

Manage the packaging lifecycle for new devices from initial kickoff through full production.

Responsibilities

• Manage device launches by overseeing the process from kickoff to production packaging.
• Coordinate testing processes with external vendors and report on launch readiness.
• Maintain management systems for tooling, documentation, and devices.
• Design palletizations using CAPE software and modify technical drawings in 2D design software.
• Collaborate with sourcing, launch operations, process engineering, quality, and suppliers to develop cost savings plans.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering, a related field, or another engineering discipline.
• 0-3 years of job-related experience in packaging engineering and project management.
• Proficiency in CAPE software for palletization design.
• Proficiency in ArtiosCAD or other 2D design software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prepare written project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Experience coordinating project teams and managing production resources.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments.
